Project Assistant (m/f/d)

for our headquarter in Düsseldorf

We are looking for a Project Assistant to support the planning and execution of international market research projects at our Düsseldorf-based institute.

As an owner-managed full-service market research institute with a strong international presence, we conduct complex quantitative research projects and work with renowned clients across sectors as retail, telecommunications & digital, consumer goods & media, automotive and management consulting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of market research projects (CATI, online, F2F) from kickoff to delivery
  • Assist with structured data support, including data checks and validation
  • Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables, flagging issues early
  • Assist with questionnaire reviews, logic checks, and survey testing
  • Maintain clear file organization, naming conventions, and version control
  • Support reporting tasks such as preparing tables, summaries, and presentation-ready materials
  • Re-check outputs carefully before submission to ensure high-quality results

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel (filters, formulas, formatting, basic pivots)
  • Experience in structured data handling or project support tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English
  • Degree or completed vocational training in a relevant field (e.g. Marketing, Business Administration, Social Sciences)

Permanent position

After a 3-month probationary period, you will transition to a permanent role at our Düsseldorf office.

Base salary + bonus

The AMR office and its CATI call center are located in the heart of Düsseldorf’s Old Town, just between the Rhine River and the iconic Königsallee shopping street (Kö). The Düssel stream is right outside the door, and Carlsplatz, with its array of food and drink options, is only a 3-minute walk away. Whether you’re in the mood for a meal or a cold Altbier, there’s always something nearby.

You’ll have your own dedicated workspace in a shared double office.
