Sales Manager (m/f/d)
for our headquarter in Düsseldorf
We are looking for an experienced B2B Sales Manager to acquire new clients for our international market research institute, based in Düsseldorf.
As an owner-managed full-service market research institute with a strong international presence, we conduct complex quantitative research projects and work with renowned clients across sectors as retail, telecommunications & digital, consumer goods & media, automotive and management consulting.
Your tasks
- Continuous expansion and active support of new customers in a B2B context
- Direct reporting line to the managing director
- Independent consultation of customers on tailor-made research designs and solutions
- Implementation and support of all relevant steps in quantitative market research projects – from initial consultation to presentation of results
- Development and implementation of sales strategies in the field of B2B market research with a focus on sustainable sales growth
- Deepening customer relationships through personal conversations, presentations and regular customer engagements
- Participation in events such as trade fair appearances, customer days and industry meetings
- Systematic maintenance and updating the CRM system
Your profile
- Solid sales experience in the B2B environment with a proven track record in establishing and maintaining customer relationships
- Completed degree in business administration or comparable qualification
- High degree of initiative, structured working style and entrepreneurial thinking
- Strong communication skills and business fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
- Willingness to learn and enthusiasm for innovative research approaches and strategic consulting
- Enjoyment of active selling, negotiation skills and enthusiasm for handling challenging customers
- Excellent customer management as well as expertise, in-depth knowledge and passion for market and media research

You’ll have your own dedicated workspace in a shared double office.
